November 13-19, 2010. Heart and Craft: A Memoir Workshop for Women in La Barra de Potosi, Mexico. We will spend six days together in the vibrant fishing village of La Barra, writing stunning prose about the lives we’ve lived. For beginning and experienced writers. $1,000 (early bird registration by July 1) includes tuition, accommodations in the magical Casa del Encanto, six days’ breakfast and dinner and van to/from Zihua airport.

Tell Me a Story: In this two-session workshop at the West Windsor Arts Council in New Jersey, parents and children age nine or older will share and write stories of important moments in their lives. June 3 and 10, 1-3 p.m.. More information and registration at www.westwindsorarts.org.
